Our Christmas week started off with celebrating Andrew's 33rd birthday! Happy Birthday Daddy! Uncle Dave came for a visit and we all went to dinner then came home for yummy vanilla cake.
Later in the week, we got snowed in. It was the perfect time for baking Christmas cookies. Did you know you can make your own colored decorating sugar using plain granulated sugar and liquid food coloring? We made pastel pink and green for these "Vanilla Pillow" cookies.

We set out to Mimi & Pop's Christmas Eve afternoon and ended up staying over two nights. The boys had so much fun. Christmas Eve dinner at Mimi's was delicious. Christmas morning, the boys opened presents at Mimi & Pop's & then also at Grandmom & Grandpop Humphries' house.
