Hi, my name is Cynthia.  I am a mother to sweet twin boys and a precious little girl.  We live in a town called Point Pleasant, hence the title of this blog.  I have the best and most helpful, hard-working husband who allows me to be a stay-at-home mom, which is something we do not take for granted.  He is also my high school sweetheart.

I started this blog a few years ago, when we moved from Southern New Jersey to Northern Jersey, realizing that an hour of travel is just long enough to make our visits with family and friends few and far between.  I didn't want them to miss any little moments in our lives.  I wanted our parents to be able to peek in at the sweet faces of their grandchildren.

I am just a mom trying her best to raise her kids the best way that I know how.  Like any family, we have our good and bad days.  I prefer to focus on the good ones.  I mostly use this space to record the special events in our lives as well as the precious little moments that make life sweet.  I strive to live in the moment because I know that if I don't, I will wake up one day and my children will be teenagers!  I don't want to miss a thing.  I don't want them to ever forget the places we've visited, things we've done or traditions & friends we've made.  So, this is really my little scrapbook for my children.

It is also a good little hobby/outlet for me.  I love to travel, be outdoors, cook and be crafty but I am no expert at anything!  I hope one day my children will look back on what I've recorded to get a better sense of what their mom was like and the things she enjoyed.  Maybe one day, they will make one of my favorite recipes that I've posted for their  families.  And, if you catch a yummy recipe or idea from time to time, that's great!  But mostly, I am just happy you came for a visit!!  Thanks for stopping by.
