Halloween 2013

This year, it was a hedgehog for Amelia & Captain Rex for Daniel & a storm trooper for Benjamin!

We started the day at the boys' school for a Halloween parade followed by a few sweet songs and poems recited in their classroom.  Later in the day, there was a Halloween party in their classroom and Mommy & Amelia both attended.

Once home from school, we headed to Lauren's neighborhood with Lauren and her girls plus Joseph (the boys' best friend), his mom Kelly and little sister Molly.  It was nice for the little ones to trick or treat in the daylight.  Amelia went door to door in her stroller and enjoyed her first mini chocolate bars.

For dinner, we headed to Kelly's for grilled veggie sandwiches, chili and spiked caramel cider for the adults!!  We did night time trick or treating there in her neighborhood.

It was a busy but fun day!!

Because the nursery is lavender and green, we used those colors for the invite & decorations.

Kevin's mom (Karen), sister (Tara) and I just hosted a baby shower for Christine this past Sunday here in Point Pleasant at Spano's Restaurant. It was lovely all around.

All of Kevin's family and Karen's girlfriends gathered with Christine's long time friends & co-workers to celebrate this baby girl who will be here in just over a month!

The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and we were able to stretch out using the whole restaurant for several hours.

The gifts were abundant and generous and now baby Genevieve is really set!

We celebrated Christine and her little baby Genevieve a few Sundays ago at my Mom & Dad's for her first baby shower. It was a beautiful sunny day & every single woman who was invited was able to attend!

Mom did a great job hosting & thanks to everyone's generosity, Christine, Kevin and baby are off to a great start!

Never Grow Up!

Happy 4th Birthday, our sweet boys!
Here are Ben and Dan on the morning of their birthday, about to open their gifts from Mom & Dad.


We headed over for a party at the Little Gym in the early afternoon.

It was a Peter Pan theme. The boys love this story & movie plus it's a great theme to work with since there are so many fun elements. What little boy doesn't love pirates, Indians, flying, and Lost Boys?



Thanks to Aunt Christine we had lots of Peter Pan characters to cut out & use for cupcake toppers and centerpiece buckets, as well as customized placemats for each party guest.

First off, it was time for free play. We had the Peter Pan Soundtrack playing in the background so the kids jumped & played to the music.

After free play, the instructors gathered the kids for parachute play.



Then they had a blast bouncing on a huge inflatable mat!
