December Wrap-Up

I haven't posted much at all this month! I guess it's because it's been a busy one. Here's some of what we've been doing:


Visiting with Santa at the Barlow Chevrolet Christmas party & the boys receiving their first gifts of the season.





Attending the fabulous wedding of Laurie and Ben, our friends from Vermont. Enjoying the festive and warm atmosphere of the Philadelphia Racquet Club and the company of friends.

Letting the boys choose the decorations for Daddy's birthday cake. We did a red velvet cake with buttercream icing and the boys chose (surprise!) candy letters for the top. They insisted on the above sentiments...probably the longest cake message in the history of baking! It was sweet.

More baking and cake pop making for an early Barlow Christmas Eve. We celebrated early this year because Jackie and Matt just had their second baby, little Claire Cyann! She was born on Wednesday, December 21 and was 8 lbs. 9 ounces, 19 inches. Definitely pictures to come! We will be meeting her this Christmas Day.

Looking forward to a nice quiet Christmas Eve with just the four of us tomorrow and Christmas Day with my extended family.
